Print Production / Heat Press Operator
School Fundraising Ltd are looking for a new staff member to commence work in October 2020. We are expanding our range of products in late 2020 and into 2021 and are looking for a new staff member to help with this expansion. This is a new role, you will be joining a small team (3 at the moment) of full-time staff who are joined by a number of temporary staff members for their busy Christmas period.
Salary & Hours
- Starting date, Monday 5th October 2020.
- This is a full-time position with hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with overtime possibilities around Christmas.
- Salary dependent upon candidate quality but will be in the range of £16,000 pa to £20,000 per annum
- You will be working at our unit in Gatehouse Way, Aylesbury, HP19 8XN.
- You will be subject to a 6 month probationary period after which your position will be confirmed.
The Role
- This role would suit someone you likes working with their hands.
- The primary role here is the operation of our heat press machines, decorating garments (hoodies etc) and other personalised products (tote bags etc) the company manufactures.
- You will be fully trained by existing staff so no prior experience is necessary (but would be welcomed)
- You will also be responsible for organising your own workflow, including the packaging of items for dispatch (where appropriate)
- The successful candidate will be
- physically fit (you will be on your feet for much of the day)
- need to demonstrate good computer skills (printing artwork from files, operating our web based order management system)
- an eye for detail.
- able to work alone (i.e. without supervision) and take responsibility for ensuring work gets done to a high quality.
- fit in well with our small but friendly team of full-time staff
- After initial training you will be expected to manage your own time and get through the day’s work with little overseeing.
